According to a rumor which first appeared at Android World, Samsung will throw in a $99 Gear VR headset for free for customers who pre-order the new Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge smartphones on February 21.
The deal is expected to last for a couple of weeks.

Other smartphone manufacturers have been bundling virtual reality headsets with their smartphones recently.
Lenovo bundled its new K4 Note smartphone with an Ant VR virtual reality headset and sold 10,000 sets in less than a second in India, followed shortly by iberry with its new Auxus Stunner smartphone bundled with the Auxus VR headset. And the packaging of the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4S smartphone will also double as a virtual reality headset.
