AltspaceVR, which offers multi-user virtual reality software, announced that it raised an additional $10.3 million in venture capital, bringing total funding to $15.7 million.
“We’re working hard to make AltspaceVR the most natural and fulfilling way to communicate online, and the additional resources will help us get there faster,” the company said it its announcement.
The company supports the Oculus Rift, Leap Motion, and Microsoft Kinect and mirrors users’ physical gestures in the virtual environment.
The platform can be used to allow mutliple people to watch videos together, to give presentations, or for other social events.
