FrancoGrid is holding its Fest’Avi event June 6 through 8 and would-be participants have until Monday, May 26, to submit their avatar designs to the competition.
Registration is open to both local residents and residents of any other OpenSim grid, and winning avatars will be determined by the public and a jury.
The avatars must be original creations, and be licensed under the Creative Commons license.

The avatars will then be distributed by FrancoGrid as freebies.
Some content creators use competitions such as this as part of their content marketing strategy. For them, FrancoGrid would make for a good partner since the grid is known for art and cultural events.
